Best Builds

  • PvP build: use Quinn only when your troop type, gear, and partner hero support the same combat plan.
  • PvE build: prioritize consistent clears and event value before niche damage setups.
  • F2P build: delay heavy investment until Quinn's shard sources fit your account.

Best Pairings

  • Alcar: similar Infantry or Combat role for formation testing.
  • Amadeus: similar Infantry or Combat role for formation testing.
  • Amane: similar Cavalry or Combat role for formation testing.
  • Use pairings that improve the same battle purpose instead of mixing unrelated bonuses.

Formation Tips

  • Match Quinn with Cavalry research and gear where possible.
  • Do not judge a formation by power alone; check whether the frontline, damage, and support roles work together.
  • Test before spending rare shards or speedups.

Upgrade Priority

  • Upgrade Quinn when the hero is part of your main march or solves a specific PvP, PvE, or event bottleneck.
  • Check source availability before using universal shards.
  • Keep buildings, research, and gear aligned with the hero plan.

Common Mistakes

  • Upgrading only because the hero is Legendary.
  • Ignoring troop type and formation role.
  • Spending shards before checking related heroes and source access.

Story

Quinn is a thrill-seeker abroad and hedonist at home, content to spend his days on wine and women while enjoying the occasional adventure. He has only one principle, and that is that everyone is ultimately on their own. Trying to rescue other people is a great way to get both of you hurt and, besides, why let others tie you down? Most men are impressed by Quinn's powerful figure, quick wit, and incredible skill with a crossbow. Women even more so. Some people are born charismatic and Quinn is one of them. He has an easygoing charm, a kind of magnetic quality to his gaze, a casual affability that conceals a careful purposefulness. An evening with Quinn can be quite the experience. "I think this is a task for me, fair lady. Allow me to assist!" "I must say, I am rather spellbound by your beauty, madam. Can I buy you a drink?" "I say, I see you have great talent, young master" "Honored governor, I would love it if you allowed me to entertain you for an evening? We have much to talk about concerning recent affairs of state." In short, Quinn will say whatever he thinks will charm and persuade others. Where is Quinn from? Nobody knows. A wanderer fleeing a powerful enemy? A man of the cloth for whom the temptation of vice became too great? Others, grasping at straws, guess Quinn was once an important member of stone-workers guild because of a strange masonry symbol on his crossbow. The only person who refuses to get involved in this speculation is Quinn himself. But that only adds to the mystique. There was once a senator from long ago in a republic far away who was expelled in great disgrace. Never mind the official reason. The senator was an idealist and a stumbling block to the money-making schemes of those who ruled his city-state. Idealism could not spread. It had to be nipped in the bud. Reports of a fire spread throughout the capital. Where? The disgraced senator's villa. No one knows how many servants and household members lost their lives that day in the fire. Truthfully, no one wanted to know. It was better to remain apart, uninvolved. One could not risk staining one's own good name by association with one marked out of the senatorial rolls. Even the senator's name became taboo in polite company. It was a name so innocuous and yet afterward spoken with so much fear: Quinn.
