Best Builds

  • PvP build: use Forrest only when your troop type, gear, and partner hero support the same combat plan.
  • PvE build: prioritize consistent clears and event value before niche damage setups.
  • F2P build: delay heavy investment until Forrest's shard sources fit your account.

Best Pairings

  • Alcar: similar Infantry or Combat role for formation testing.
  • Amadeus: similar Infantry or Combat role for formation testing.
  • Charles: similar Infantry or Combat role for formation testing.
  • Use pairings that improve the same battle purpose instead of mixing unrelated bonuses.

Formation Tips

  • Match Forrest with Infantry research and gear where possible.
  • Do not judge a formation by power alone; check whether the frontline, damage, and support roles work together.
  • Test before spending rare shards or speedups.

Upgrade Priority

  • Upgrade Forrest when the hero is part of your main march or solves a specific PvP, PvE, or event bottleneck.
  • Check source availability before using universal shards.
  • Keep buildings, research, and gear aligned with the hero plan.

Common Mistakes

  • Upgrading only because the hero is Legendary.
  • Ignoring troop type and formation role.
  • Spending shards before checking related heroes and source access.

Story

Forrest looks every bit the villain. Standing two meters tall, the bald giant looms over other villagers, his beard and the jagged scar a typical sign of an outlaw. But that has also made Forrest the perfect go-to for dealing with the town's unruly children. A side-gig that has since come to complement his main trade: woodcutting. Alina's father died in the wars. Mother had to work late. Forrest wiped the sweat from his brow as he went out to look for her in the forest for the eighth time this month. His fingers found a few beautiful flowers as he searched. By the time Alina had been delivered to her waiting mother she had a little laurel courtesy of the friendly giant. Forrest wasn't quite sure why he did this. Who was it really for? "Thanks for bringing her back! Say, why don't you come in? Eat with us for once?" The friendly lady cropped her hair back as she waved hello. "Stay won't you, Uncle Forrest?! You know, Mom's soup is the best in the whole wide world!" It was hard to say no to Alina's tearfully optimistic face. "Next time maybe?" Forrest replied half-mumbling as his hands fidgeted nervously for something to do. Many years have passed since that day. Now Forrest, Alina and her mother are a family. The place where they live is an oasis of forest near a mountain that receives the first rays of the dawn sun. The trees of the mountain are well-sheltered by the towering peak just as the family are well-sheltered from the chaos of the outside world—by their survival skills and also the strong arms of the woodcutter.
