Chenko and Yeonwoo's first skills are also very important. In Bear Trap, you can join up to 6 rallies, so having multiple heroes with DamageUp first skills is extremely useful. Using the right joiner heroes can greatly increase rally damage for both you and your alliance. Since Bear Trap rewards are very good, performing well in this event can help your account grow much faster.
Yeonwoo's second skill is another important one to upgrade because it increases research speed by up to 15% when maxed. A 15% research speed boost may not sound huge at first, but when you look at the total research time over months of upgrades, it can save you weeks of waiting. Keep this skill high on your priority list.
Diana's first skill is also very useful early on. You can max her out fairly quickly if you focus on the Desert Trial event. Her first skill reduces stamina costs, which is helpful in stamina-heavy events like Desert Trial and Cesare's Fury. Having this skill maxed early will save you a lot of stamina over time.
The gathering skills of blue heroes are some of the most important skills in the game. A lot of players ignore blue heroes or choose their resource production skills instead when they have limited blue expedition manuals. However, gathering skills are much better because gathering provides far more resources than resource buildings produce.
Gordon's first skill is very important for F2Ps and low spenders because they mostly act as joiners in rallies. Using the right joiner heroes can make a huge difference in alliance rallies, especially when helping alliance whales. Gordon's first skill increases Health, which is one of the best stats to boost early on for rally support.
Saul's second skill increases construction speed and reduces resource costs. It is recommended to get this skill to at least level 3 for the 9% boost. This skill stays useful throughout the game because there are countless building upgrades, especially with Truegold levels going up to TG8 and possibly TG10 in the future.
Fahd and Diana both have second skills that increase march speed. These are nice quality-of-life skills to upgrade once you are done with the more important purple hero skills and have extra purple expedition manuals available.
